John was born to the late John Clarence Albright and Bertha Lucinda Stimeling, on November 16, 1920 at Fishing Creek near Marysville, PA.  He is pre-deceased by one brother, Alfred Albright, and one sister, Ruth Steele. He was active in Masonic Lodge and greatly enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, as well as hunting and fishing in Perry County.

John is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Jean, and numerous nieces and nephews. John and Jean met at a roller skating rink. During a changing partner skate, after John met Jean, he refused to skate with anyone else. They celebrated 70 years of marriage on July 24, 2018. He and Jean enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland, and shopping, especially for antiques, in Lancaster County.
