Jo Anne Bair

 Jo Anne Bair, age 66, of Landisburg was called home on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the U.P.M.C Carlisle Medical Center, Carlisle, PA.

 Born November 28, 1952 in Carlisle she was the daughter of the late Lawrence R. and Vera Mae (Wilt) Cauffman of Blain, PA.

 Jo Anne was at graduate of West Perry High School class of 1970. She went on to HACC to earn an Associates degree and then continued her education at Penn State University, Middletown campus and earned a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Elementary Education.

 On July 22, 1978 she married her beloved husband Edward Kenneth Bair, II at Zion .U.C.C. Church in Blain.

 She was an elementary school teacher in the West Perry School District before retirement. She has also taught as a teacher at the Lack-Tuscarora in the Juniata County School District.

 She was a member of the Zion U.C.C. Church in Blain and attended  Otterbein U.M.C. Carlisle. She was also a member of the West Perry Education Association; Greenwood Community Band; Celebration Winds at Otterbein U.M.C.; Choir at Zion U.C.C. and West Perry Band Boosters.
 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her beloved sons,Joseph E. Bair of Landisburg, Richard K. Bair and his fiancée Ashley DeJesus of Annapolis, MD; two brothers Dennis R. Cauffman and Brian R. Cauffman both of Blain and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 10 A.M. in the Perry Mennonite Reception Center, 350 Green Park Rd, Elliottsburg, PA 17024 followed by the funeral service at 11 A.M. with Rev. Daniel Dennis and Rev. Joseph Kugle officiating. Interment to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

 The family wishes to thank Dr. Michetti and staff at Pinnacle Health Wound Center, Mechanicsburg and Carlisle Regional Medical Center, ICU staff and Homeland Home Health Staff.
