Landisburg, Pennsylvania
Flo Arlene Morrison, 75, of Landisburg, passed into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus
Christ on November 13, 2019, due to complications from oral cancer surgery.
Flo was born on December 27, 1943, in Blain to Merle and Lila Wallace.
She graduated from Blain Union High School and attended York College to study liberal arts.
Flo worshipped at Three Springs Church of the Brethren and actively served her Lord in various roles there. She modeled Christ-like love by comforting the broken-hearted in the community, and others couldn't help but experience the love of Jesus that radiated from Flo.
She had a passion for traveling, particularly to Cape May, New Jersey for an annual
family vacation. Flo treasured time with family and especially enjoyed meeting her siblings for a dinner every month and preparing meals for her large family, friends, and her husband’s business associates.
Flo doted on her grandchildren and faithfully supported them at their various games
and performances. She valued family traditions like making applesauce and putting away sweet corn and graciously treated the grandchildren to back-to-school shopping trips.
Words fail to convey the depths of her love and generosity.
Flo will be profoundly missed by her devoted husband of 57 years, Gerald Kenneth
Morrison; son Douglas Morrison and his daughters Audrey and Rebecca; daughter Deanna (Matthew) Brown and children Melissa, Michael, Meredith, and Margrett; daughter Christina Morrison and children Samuel and Jesse Shelton; daughter Jill (David) Goretski and children Jacob, Cole, Sophia, and Olivia; son Scott (Meggan) Morrison and children Caden, Bradley, Tyler, and Maggie; and daughter Karen (Daniel) Bolze and children Lila and Ezekiel. Flo was preceded in death by her parents, brother Vern Allen Wallace, sister Sally Clites, and her son Robert (Bob) Kenneth Morrison.
Visitation will be held at the Church of the Living Christ, 2401 Fort Robinson Road,
Loysville, PA at 10:00am on Thursday, November 21 with a funeral service following at noon.
All are welcome to join the family in celebrating Flo’s life during a fellowship meal at the
church that will follow interment.
