Elaine Mavis (Swanson) Harp

MILLERSTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA

Elaine Mavis “Laney” (nee Swanson) Harp, age 67, of Millerstown died on March 28, 2018 at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown, PA after a long illness.

Born October 9, 1950 in Forks, Washington to the late Walter and Gladys (nee McFarland) Swanson.

She graduated from Crescent City High School, Crescent City, California and graduated with an Associate Degree as a Certified Medical Assistant.

She was employed as a medical assistant for many years.  Her last job was teaching medical assistant to students at KTI.

She was the wife of Frederick R. Harp, Jr.

In addition to her husband, Elaine is survived by a son, Marek Alistar Yarbrough and his wife Heather of Newark, California, a daughter Melinda Suzanne Harp and her husband Mark Rhoades of Newport, Pennsylvania, three sisters, Eileen Allen of Seattle, Washington, Marilyn Warren and Alice Lindgren both of Port Angelas, Washington and a granddaughter Hannah Yarbrough of Newark California.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private.
