Dorothy P. Stone, age 93 of Duncannon formerly of Newport was called home early Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Kinkora Pythian Home.

Born December 8, 1926 Saville Twp.,  Perry County she was the daughter of the late William and Mae Stitzel Hockenberry.

She was the wife of the late Kenneth R. Stone.

She was employed at the PA Department of Cigarette and Beverage Tax as a clerk until her retirement.

She was a member of the Faith United Church of Ickesburg.

She is survived by four children: Ralph Stone and his wife Donna of Bellefonte; Donna Shatto of Blain; Fay Watson of Loysville; and Carrie Fite and her husband Lawrence of Boothwyn, PA; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Nickel-Lochstampfor Family Funeral Home, Inc. 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA and again 1 hour prior to church services.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11 AM at the Faith United Church, 6968 Veterans Way, Ickesburg, PA.  Interment Eschol Cemetery, Millerstown.
