Barbara Ellen Flood,  of Waynesboro, PA was called home to her loving Lord on Wednesday, April 5th, at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg.

Barbara was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on May 11, 1944, the daughter of Dorothy Virginia (Crouse) Mentzer and the late Glenton Charles Mentzer.

She was the wife of Joel Flood who she married August 15, 1987 in Otterbein Church, Waynesboro..

She graduated from South Hagerstown High School class of 62.

She was employed at Washington County Hospital for 23 years in nutrition services retiring in 2007.

She and her husband Joel attended Otterbein Church. Barbara was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Girl Scouts with various troops.

In addition to her husband Barbara is survived by three daughters and a son; Debora Sue Hunter and her husband Terry of Jacksonville, FL.; Theresa Diane Keefer of Colorado Springs, CO. Travis E. Flood of Mechanicsburg, PA; Jolie Delosier of Waynesboro;; brother, Michael Loy Mentzer and his wife Joanne, of Hagerstown, MD.; and 4 granddaughters and one grandson

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1 P.M. at Lochstampfor Funeral Home, Inc. corners of S. Church and W. Second Streets, Waynesboro with funeral services following at 2 P.M. at the funeral homes with Rev. John Hoffman of Otterbeiin Church officiating. Interment in Green Hill Cemetery.
